UPCOMING FESTIVALS & ANNUAL EVENTS

Tickets now on sale for the New York Burlesque Festival!

There are a large number of annual burlesque related events in New York worth noting: Burlesque at the Beach (Thursday & Friday, May-Sept); the Coney Island Mermaid Parade (June 19); Coney Island Rockabilly Festival (Sept. 3-6); and, of course, the New York Burlesque Festival (Sept. 30-Oct 3).  Aside from the big national events such as the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas (June) and  Tease-O-Rama (dates & venue TBA), there is a growing number of regional multiday festivals in the US and Canada. For a partial lisiting, click here for Brooklyn Ed’s Burlesque Festival Calendar.

And for film buffs … Lady Monster Productions will present the First International Burlesque Film Festival in San Francisco, Nov. 12-14.
